Thomas Veryard
Thomas Veryard is a furniture maker deeply inspired by a love for vernacular furniture and traditional craftsmanship. After graduating in Furniture Design from Sheffield University, Thomas was drawn to the hands-on process of making rather than digital design, a path that led him to work as a maker at Matthew Cox. Here, he honed his skills alongside talented craftsmen, completing numerous projects for renowned interior designers.
Using hand tools passed down from his grandfather and others before him, Thomas creates each piece with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring every item carries the unique mark of craftsmanship. His work combines a respect for time-honoured techniques with a modern sensibility, resulting in furniture and objects that are built to last for generations.
