Izzy Mcfarlane
Izzy Mcfarlane is a Margate-based ceramicist specialising in homeware. With a background in printed textiles from Leeds Arts University, she explored screen printing and 3D processes before discovering ceramics in 2020 after purchasing a kickwheel.
Her work reflects her textiles background, blending surface pattern with form in dynamic ways. Inspired by architecture and mid-century design, she contrasts brutalist shapes with a soft, playful colour palette. She sees her mugs as small sculptures - functional pieces of art for everyday rituals.
