ABOUT US
The Hive is an independent online shop offering carefully selected and often handmade goods. All items listed are sold and shipped by The Hive.

PRODUCTS
We aim to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible, but please keep in mind:

  • Many of our pieces are handmade and may vary slightly in colour, shape or finish.
  • All measurements are approximate.
  • Colours may appear differently depending on your screen settings.

PRICING
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

ORDERS
Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an email confirmation. This confirms we’ve received your order, but does not guarantee availability. If for any reason we can’t fulfil your order, we’ll get in touch and issue a full refund.

SHIPPING

UK Shipping:
We aim to dispatch in-stock items within 1-3 working days. Made-to-order items will take longer, and estimated time frames will be outlined on the product page.

International Shipping:
Get in touch to request for international shipping.

CANCELLING AN ORDER

  • If you change your mind, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@foundatthehive.co.uk.
  • In-stock items can usually be cancelled if we haven't yet shipped your order.
  • Made-to-order items can only be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order, as work may begin shortly after. After this period, cancellations may not be possible.

MADE TO ORDER ITEMS
Some items are made to order, which means they’re created just for you once your purchase is confirmed. 

  • Estimated dispatch times for made-to-order items will be noted on the product page.
  • As these are custom-made, they may take between 3-8 weeks to complete.
  • Made-to-order items are non-refundable unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
  • If you need a made-to-order item by a specific date, please get in touch before placing your order and we’ll do our best to help.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
We hope you love your order, but if not...

  • You may return it within 14 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original condition.
  • Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.
  • Refunds are processed within 5-10 working days of receiving the return.
  • Please note: Sale items and made-to-order or custom products are non-returnable unless faulty.

DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS
If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos and a description, and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
